Hardwell Mad World Remixes 2016

Hardwell has released his anticipated “Mad World – The Remixes” EP, featuring remixes of, you guessed it, “Mad World” from Moski, Quintino and others. My personal favorites are the Sephyx, I am a sucker for hardstyle, and the Moski remix, which has a nice overall sound.

Galantis’ “Pharmacy” Album Tops Charts & Announce New Remix EP

Galantis_Press-Photo-Main_Henrik-Korpi

It’s no surprise this happened.

Whenever I see a new Galantis track in my inbox, I already know it’s going to be amazing. “Pharmacy”, with proven bangers like “Runaway”, “You” and many other tracks that no matter what you’re doing you will automatically recognize and lose your shit, was destined to top the charts hitting the charts within the first week shooting up to #1 on Billboard Current Electronic Album Chart, #45 on the Billboard 200 and over 131 million streams globally to date as well, making Galantis one of the leading dance artists in the streaming space.

It doesn’t stop there; there’s more Galantis coming next monday June 29th, 2015. They are set to release a remix EP of “Peanut Butter Jelly” with remixes from Colombian producer Moska, GTA and Jacque Lu Cont (Stuart Price). You can listen to GTA’s remix below.

02 – Misanthrop – Capitalism
03 – Misanthrop – Big Data
04 – Misanthrop – Rock’n’Roll

Track by Track Review:

1. I Need More
It is a bit different from the other tracks on this EP. The suspenseful build ups leading to a, by comparison to the other tracks, relatively calm drop that veers away from your typical Drum n Bass percussion.

Public Stream Not Yet Available

2. Capitalism
Glitchier than the previous track but, still pretty nice. The repetitive dark synths really brings the track together. Plan on having a mosh pit any time soon? Perfect track for that.

3. Big Data
Love the intro. The engulfing dark and deep sounds at the beginning create an amazing lead up to the drop which, as any good DnB should, is full of energy.

4. Rock N’ Roll
The track title selection fits it well. This is a track a DJ should start their set with — amazing intro with an insane drop. Don’t believe me? Take a listen yourself

She Goes EP By Atmozfears & Adrenalize (Hardstyle Preview)

SSL030

Scantraxx Recordz is always looking out for future generations of Hardstyle. Atmozfears & Adrenalize are a young breed who bring fresh and melodic sounds that will soothe your brain and at the same time release a good dose of hard beats.

She Goes – Is a track that will easily infiltrate the ears and hearts of any EDM fan in the new market.

Possession – Is a track that proves no limits and variety is something these two artists seem to have in common. This track is more of a Rawstyle song built with a euphoric foundation which helps it to be catchy and seduce you till you become possessed.

She Goes EP will be released 09/01/2014.

This hot track is previewed exclusively on our site this week, showing off some of Daddy’s Groove’s exquisite talent at blending great drops with amazing buildups to them. Starting off with a strong baseline, it’s emphasized with the strategic placement of pauses in the track, building the track’s intensity. As the song progresses, the vocals echo louder and louder, building into the very base-heavy, drop.

Review: Juan Magan – The King Is Back Vol. 1

The King Is Back Juan Magan

If Juan Magan’s new album were a piece of musical candy it would be Latin-Pop sprinkled with EDM a few pieces dipped in Merengue Electronico.

The ‘EDM’ tracks were kind of lacking if you like new cutting edge sounds; the melodies sounded as if they were just copied and pasted from a pre-made sound library and basically sounded like pop. The crossover of using Spanish and English, or Spanglish, was a unique touch on some EDM tracks like “Falling In Love (ft. Zion & Lennox)” which saved them from complete mediocrity but, again, it sounded Pop-like.

The album wasn’t all bad, the Merengue Electronico or Electronic merengue songs were on point. My personal favorite was “Si No Te Quisiera” which was a bit of a surprise. Belinda, which is normally known for her borderline mediocre pop music, and Lapiz Conciente, a hard hitting Dominican rapper, are both featured artists on it, which seems kind of odd at first but, they come together relatively well. The chorus on this track is what puts it over the top; the catchy-ness, the rhythm and the shear dance-ability of the track collectively make “Si No Te Quisiera” the must have song on this album along with the track with Maffio, “Tentandome” Farruko also hopped on the album with “Como El Viento” which has some pop and Kuduro elements that make the track a radio hit.

Yellow Claw – Amsterdam Trap Music Vol.2 (Preview Mix): Waka Flocka, Diplo & More

Yellow Claw - Amsterdam Trap Music Vol.2 (Preview Mix)

From Waka Flocka to Beenie Man, Yellow Claw’s upcoming release will not disappoint. As you can tell by the title, it’s trap but, Yellow Claw and LNY TNZ have teamed up for Hardstyle collabs before so you may hear some Hardstyle screeches here and there which are a pretty nice. My personal favorite track on this four track release is “Dancehall Soldier Ft. Beenie Man” because of the use of Brass-like sounds common in deep south trap music but, it also has some Dutch House influence and Beenie Man’s verse isn’t overbearing — it’s a nice balance of different sounds.

1. Yellow Claw & Diplo & LNY TNZ – Techno Ft. Waka Flocka Flame
2. Yellow Claw – Kaolo Pt.2
3. Yellow Claw – Never Dies Ft. Lil’ Eddie
4. Yellow Claw – Dancehall Soldier Ft. Beenie Man
