Farruko Working with MML (Maybach Music Latino)

Farruko MMG Latino MML

Ever since Rick Ross named a new president to his Spanish division of Maybach Music, Spiff, Maybach Music Latino (MML) has started to work with relevant Latin urban artists. Previously, we reported that Jory, former member of duo Nova & Jory, was working with MML. Now, Farruko is working with them. As seen in the picture above, Farruko is accompanied by Gucci Pucci, his manager and Spiff (from left to right) during a MML dinner meeting.

We expect a cross-over mixtape or collaborations later this year.

A few weeks ago, a new president of MMG Latino, the spanish division of Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group, was announced. Spiff, music video director, took over the failed division and said he had big plans for MML. If this is the first you’ve heard of MML, that’s no surprise. Previously it was mostly just Spanish rap but, now Spiff has plans to work with both prominent Latin and American urban artists. He has coordinated various “Spanish remixes” in the past like the De La Ghetto “B*tches and Bottles” remix, now he is working on original projects under MML.

Most recently, Spiff has started work with more Reggaeton artists. Jory, now a solo artists formally part of the duo Nova & Jory, is one of those artists working with Spiff. We have reached out to Spiff and MML for further details.

Jay-Z: Sings “I Got 99 Problems, But Mitt Ain’t One” at an Obama Campaign Rally

Washington DC – Rapper and Obama supporter, Jay-Z was in Columbus, Ohio, an important “swing state” for both candidates, where he was performing at an Obama rally. The rapper, as seen in the video, performed his famous track “99 Problems“, but with a political tweak. Rather than say “…but a b***h ain’t one”, Jay-Z replaced the word with “Mitt”, as in Republican nominee Willard Mitt Romney. The video has now gone viral where 15,000 supporters at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus enjoyed Jay-Z’s performance.

Remember to go out and vote November 6, 2012. No matter who or what, as in referendums, you’re voting for it is important to let your opinion be “heard”.
