Apple Launches Their “Genius” Commercials

Washington DC – You may have noticed yesterday, like I did, that during the commercial breaks of the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics, an event with over 1 Billion people tuned in, Apple aired a new commercial personality for the Mac computer. This new personality is the “Apple Genius”, what they call staff at Apple stores who help customers learn how to use their macs. The first commercial I saw was the airline one called “Mayday (Shown Below)” where the Apple Genius helps a man in desperate need with his iMovie anniversary video, I found it pretty creative — like the other commercials as well.

Apple, a company making more than $60 Billion a year, has an amazing marketing team that pushes out memorable commercials to promote their products and the Apple Genius guy is no exception. Down below are the latest 3 commercials featuring the Apple guy, personally I enjoy the Labor Day one.

Video: Hardwell Q&A Episode #01 – Life On Tour Part 2

Washington DC – The 24-year-old Dutch superstar DJ/producer Hardwell is releasing his second episode of his new Q&A series. In this episode Hardwell personally answers the questions that fans asked on his Facebook and Twitter regarding His Life on Tour. Some of questions fans asked are, “What’s the listened to song on your iPod? While touring how do you get ready for a gig? What is your favorite food? Do You perform based on the crowds reaction?” and more. Hardwell gives his fans access into his life and career by truthfully answering questions and showing exclusive footage of his life on tour. The video’s production quality is as professional and top-notch as it gets and takes fans on a ride through Hardwell’s life traveling, backstage, and performing.

Every episode will have a specific subject that focuses on Hardwell and fans can ask anything that relates to that subject. Next episode, #2 will be about Hardwell’s studio. Fans can still submit questions via Twitter by tweeting their questions @Hardwell and adding the hashtag #HardwellQ&A, or simply asking a question on his Facebook wall at the special Q&A tab http://www.facebook.com/djhardwell/app_440008416019342

Q&A episodes are hosted on Hardwell’s YouTube where he will answer the questions. When fans’ questions are chosen, their name will be included in his video. The episodes will feature a lot of great content and exclusive footage. Hardwell’s next episode is all about his studio, so fans can ask him anything they want to know about his productions, equipment, techniques, etc. Check out Hardwell’s announcement video here: http://bit.ly/MO3snU.

Hardwell is extremely excited about this as it will not only allow fans to learn much more about him, but will allow them to interact directly with him on a regular basis. Hardwell aims to enhance the connection between his followers and himself by offering fans direct access into his life, career, studio, and personality via his social media platforms.

In the words of Hardwell, “With the opportunities of social media today, it’s super easy to be in direct contact with your fans, however it’s impossible to respond to each and everyone through Twitter or Facebook. That’s how I came up with this idea, to give my fans the opportunity to ask me their questions and to have the chance to answer them in a fun way! We recorded the first episode already and had so much fun, it gives a good view on my life with some fun elements included, so it will be entertaining as well a must-see series I say!”

After A Long Teaser Campaign A New Latin Star is Revealed Joel Nuñez

Los Angeles, CA – Today we reveal the face and voice of one of Latin music’s most promising artists. After several weeks of an intense teaser campaign, which generated a great amount of buzz about the singer of “Cuando Se Cree” (When You Believe), Terra.com will premiere the debut single of Puerto Rican singer songwriter Joel Nuñez.

His single is his introduction into the Latin music industry in which he created a great deal of curiosity through his teaser campaign.

In addition to his musical training, Joel Nuñez’s story is an interesting one. His sound and unique style originated as a result of many experiences he has had due to residing in diverse places such as Puerto Rico, Peru, Chile and in several U.S. cities in Texas and Florida.

These experiences, in addition to his musical and cultural background, have been the perfect recipe for Joel’s distinct sound and musical composition style. With influences in genres such as Andean music, rock, ska, and punk among others, Joel Nuñez has been infected with different musical styles due to his experience from living in several cities.

Upon moving to Mississippi, Joel experienced one of the richest phases of his musical career. In the three years he studied music there, he learned a great deal about the Blues. He also immersed himself in the Mississippi River’s culture that lead him to discover other genres of music such jazz, rock and country and further, discover musical icons such as Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, The Doors, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Due to his constant traveling back and forth to and from Peru, during the time he was studying, Joel stayed in touch with his Latin roots. Finally his family moved to Miami and made it a permanent home. Miami also became home to Joel Nuñez’s writing and the production of his new album, which is due later out this year.

Another event that changed his life occurred on October 23, 2003 when the Florida Marlins (known as the Miami Marlins today) celebrated winning their second World Series Baseball. That night, after attending a Pat Metheny concert, Joel suffered a traffic accident in which he was the passenger. As a result, his right hand was damaged causing him to lose mobility. After multiple surgeries and extensive rehabilitation, the mobility in his hand has been recovered allowing Joel to play his guitar and move forward with his career.

This is the story of Joel Nuñez, his sound, and voice, which have generated a great deal of curiosity and interest among fans and media.
