Review: Carnage & Migos – Bricks

Bricks Carnage Migos

Carnage has talked about his collab with Atlanta-based rap trio, Migos, for awhile and it’s finally here. The song has met a lot of skepticism from both Carnage and Migos fans — each party saying the other sucks or is wack. After watching both the music video and listening to the song, it’s classic Migos. Take away Carnage’s name and it’s still a Migos track. The lyrics aren’t necessarily precious pieces of American poetry but, combined with the instrumental, create one hype and high energy track that is sure to please both Festival going Carnage fans and Trap houses across the land.

Music Video – “Bricks – Carnage ft. Migos

The only issue I see is the instrumental. I wish Carnage did a little something more with the instrumental besides what appears to be an extremely simple melody with a couple pitch changes here and there, which for trap is okay but, Carnage could of done better. Love it or hate it, “Bricks” is destined to be successful and played at the remaining festivals this summer and well into the end of the year.

Dim Mak Records – Thanksgiving Dinner Roll: Angger Dimas & Many More [Freebie]

Angger Dimas Thanksgiving Dinner Roll

From Dim Mak Records:

This Thanksgiving Dim Mak is especially thankful for all of you devoted fans. What better way to show our appreciation than with some free music!? Go ahead and bump this playlist over your Thanksgiving holiday for the whole fam. Who knows maybe granny will start a twerk train to Carnage and Tony Junior “Michael Jordan” (Bare Remix). Maybe your 998 1/2 lb uncle will finally get off the couch when the Charlie Darker remix of Clockwork’s “Surge” feat Wynter Gordon track comes on, ‘cause let’s be real, it’s impossible not to dance to that! Get the turkey, get the cranberry, and DO NOT forget the rolls…..the dinner rolls that is.

Carnage & Tony Junior – Michael Jordan (Original Mix) [Big Room]

Washington, D.C. – Carnage has been promoting this single for weeks; playing it at various shows, posting about it on Social media and even rolling out a parody Jumpman logo with his silhouette instead of Michael Jordan’s.

Yes, its another Big Room house track, but that’s what Carnage is known for too, in addition to “Festival” trap music. As many of you already can tell, Big Room is a sound that almost every producer out there has release or is planning to release. It has taken the scene by storm and artists like Carnage were at the forefront of that with the release of his song along side Borgore, “Incredible” played by artists like Avicii at shows and festivals.

The instrumental was in part mostly produced by Tony Junior, dutch producer and DJ, and Carnage added vocals and completed the rest of the production, as stated by Billboard who recieved exclusive access to the single. Let us know what you think of the track, did it live up to all the hype?
