A few months ago Porter Robinson announced his the coming of his new sound at a show in Washington, D.C. and as new tracks from his upcoming album drop, it is becoming more apparent that what he said was true. Porter brings a new refreshing sound that anyone could appreciate — no big room ova herr!

A mix between funky pop sounds with soothing pads creates a great feel on this track that rivals that of Porter Robinson’s previous release “Language” — it’s almost moving. Although I am not a big fan of the vocals, the instrumentals on this bad boy are amazing. “Lionhearted” will be available on June 17th, 2014.

Another mystery production has entered the EDM scene. Wh0 is a duo made up of two unknown producers who have an odd yet interesting way of hiding their identities. As part of their emergence onto the scene, Wh0 is releasing a free download of their track “Allies” a funky electro house tune.

They also made an interesting video to accompany the release, wait for the drop.

When I first saw this track, I read that it was categorized as “trap” but, it couldn’t be further way from that. Yellow Claw and Mightyfools came together to make one hell of a unique track; combining Moombahton, Kuduro, and some trap elements at a Jumpstyle paced tempo. It is one of those tracks that when dropped at a show, all mayhem will break loose.
