Washington, D.C. – We got this gem in our drop box a couple days ago, and to our surprise it was pretty good. Skywhere is a duo from, get this, Nuuk, Greenland (Yes, people live there) who are also brothers. They decided to remix the promotional single off of Daft Punk’s new album “Random Access Memories“, which released just yesterday on iTunes, featuring Pharell. The Skyland remix is a house remix of the dance-pop single, adding programmed electronic instruments to the real instrument based original. The Greenland based duo has released their remix as a free download on Soundcloud, which you can stream below.

De Oro Releases Two Freebies: Moombahcore & Electro Tracks

Washington, D.C. – Miami based producer and DJ, De Oro, has released new freebies, an original Moombahcore track titled “Revolution” and an interesting electro house bootleg of Fat Boy Slim – Star 69

The young 21 year old has worked on previous Corillo Magazine projects like the first volume of MMBTN, a moombahton mixtape hosted by DJ Blass, and has now released a grimey and dark moombahcore track that is surprisingly still danceable. The second freebie released by De Oro is his electro house bootleg to Fat Boy Slim’s “Star 69” . The bootleg is crazy; a high energy intense electro house track with a surprising amount of bass. Dillon calls his remix “moombahton on acid”, which is a pretty accurate definition of what the song sounds like, it takes you away. The song is similar to Dillon’s laid back feel moombahton released in the past with a high energy dance feel to it.
