Gustavo Bravetti Creates a Buzz with His New Single “Mosquito” [Tech House]

Fairfax, VA – Yes, that’s a Spinnin’ Records logo and yes, it’s deep tech house.

Uruguayan producer, Gustavo Bravetti, released a deep tech house record with Spinnin’ Records a few weeks ago and created a lot of buzz in doing so. “Mosquito”, as you can imagine, uses sub bass lines that resemble Mosquitoes flying around, but oddly enough, it isn’t irritating or annoying like the flying blood sucking insect — its quite catchy. You’ll find your self moving and grooving to the beat like good tech house should.

The single has received support from big names like Chris Lake, Richie Hawtin, Sonny Wharton, Filthy Rich, Spektre and others. With more than 50,000 hits on the Spinnin’ Records YouTube page, the single is expected to continue on its upward path of flight.

If you wish to purchase “Mosquito” on Beatport you can do so, here.

Kill The Noise – Saturn (GTA Remix): High Energy Electro Meets Melbourne

Washington, D.C. – Miami based JWLS and Van Toth, members of duo GTA, have remixed Kill The Noise’s single featuring Brillz and Minxx “Saturn” GTA, known for their re-popularization of Big Room house as “main stream” along with Carnage, has tapped into yet another variation of house music, Melbourne Bounce, a style of house from Australia. The remix has elements of electro house with traces of Melbourne Bounce in the drop and a nice dose of it near the end creating a high energy track that’ll surely have the club “bouncing” Knowing the success and popularity of GTA, we expect Melbourne Bounce influenced tracks will begin to saturate the industry pretty soon as big room house dies down.

The remix is part of the Black Magic Remixes EP being released on iTunes, Spotify and Beatport under Skrillex’s label OWSLA on September 3rd, 2013.

The M Machine – Ghosts in The Machine (Kill The Noise Remix) [Dubstep]

Washington, D.C. – Kill the Noise bring us his remix to the chill OWSLA hit, “Ghosts In The Machine”, by The M Machine with vocals by Penny. The remix is a gritty glitchy dubstep, a style Kill The Noise is known for, that still retains some of the relaxing pads used in the original mix of the track — overall a great combination. A great track for those days you wish to kick back, relax and enjoy the sunset with a nice cold one. Kill the Noise’s remix will be featured on the remix EP, which will be released on August 26th, 2013 on Skrillex’s label OWSLA.

Funkin Matt – MAD [Big Room]

Washington, D.C. – Yes, another Big room sound house track, but it’s Mad Decent so you know it’s different!

Funkin’ Matt is a Norwegian DJ based in the capital, Oslo. His single “MAD” is unique in that its a big room track without xylophone-like melodies and uses a vocal-like synths with cliché rave vocals (yes, it’s cliche but it kind of works). Best of all, this track is a freebie! Did we mention the track has awesome build-ups!?
