Sebjak and Tony Senghore bring a little Latin/Caribbean funk with their remix of “United Kids of The World” It starts off a little slow but, I promise it gets better. The two producers dusted off their Moombah/Reggaeton sound library and put it to good use on this one — a refreshing break from the Big Room Remix mediocracy out there.

Their names have risen to the top as they tour as “Krewella” in their 55-date sold out “Get Wet Live” tour. After flying in from their “Good Morning America” performance, the Chicago-based trio performed at DC’s premiere EDM venue Echostage.
Washington, D.C. – Chicago based trio, Krewella, has released their new single titled, “Live For The Night”
The single will be featured on their upcoming, yet to be titled, album which will be released on Columbia Records. This is Krewella’s first original track since the overwhelmingly successful production, Play Hard EP, and the wait was worth it. “Rain Man”, Krewella’s beat man (producer), created a high energy Progressive house instrumental with electro elements that Jahan & Yasmine accompany well with their great vocals.
We expect this single to be as, if not more, successful as their hit “Alive” which has hit radio waves and singles charts hard across the world. Let us know what you think of their new single below.
Washington, D.C. – The two sisters, Johan and Yasmine, vocalist of the trio Krewella, interview the young Dutch DJ and Producer Hardwell before his set in Miami, Florida. The four, Rainman, jumps in later on in the interview, ask Hardwell questions ranging from favorite liquors and party drinks to why he remixed their single “Alive”, which has just been released today (Stream Here).
Washington, D.C. – The final remix to Krewella’s Billboard Dance number one single, Alive, has been released today. The Hardwell remix of Alive has been played during his set at Ultra Music Festival, where the crowd got the first taste of this hard hitting dutch house remix, the second on BBC Radio 1 with a teaser from Pete Tong’s radio show. Now the remix is finally available to the general public, being released exclusively on Beatport. You can stream the complete Hardwell remix of Alive below.
Washington, D.C. – The dubstep trio, Krewella, have earned their first #1 single this week on Billboard’s Dance/Mix Show Airplay Chart.
Their single “Alive” has been on the charts for 32 weeks surpassing Zedd’s “Clarity” which is currently at the #2 Spot as well as other prominent names in EDM like Calvin Harris and Swedish House Mafia. The trio has truly grown dramatically from their humble beginnings, a “Started From The Bottom Now We Here” type story — headlining at major festivals like Ultra Music Festival in Miami and now getting their first #1 single on the charts. We’ve supported Krewella since we first launched as a magazine in late 2011 with their vocal mix to Skrillex’s “Breathe”, seeing how far they’ve come now is pretty awesome. We hope Krewella continues on their path to success and continues to blow people’s minds with their great music.
PLAY HARDER is the follow-up to KREWELLA’s #1 Beatport EP released earlier this year, PLAY HARD, which also currently sits at #10 on iTunes Dance Chart. There’s an compelling range of talent who lend their skills to the Krew’s breakout productions including fresh takes from newcomers Jakob Leidholm and Mutrix, Danish and Swedish duo Pegboard Nerds, France’s Dirtyphonics and the Netherland’s Chuckie just to name a few.
On the touring front, KREWELLA continue to crisscross the nation most recently selling out CONTROL, the major electro Friday night weekly event at Avalon in Los Angeles where over 2,000 fans attended. The next round of dates includes appearances in Miami, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland and more. There is a hometown Chicago show set for December 29 at the Congress Theater and KREWELLA will wrap up 2012 with two New Year’s Eve shows in Dallas and Denver. In the New Year, they will appear in such cities as Kansas City, Jacksonville, Tallahassee and Milwaukee with more major festival and club dates to be announced. All confirmed show dates follow below.
