MAKJ has exploded in popularity as a DJ and Producer, his tracks have landed on sets of renowned DJs like Tiesto and Hardhwell, and has started collaborating with big names as well.
He has teamed up with Henry Fong for this crazy Electro House track, appropriately releasing on Hysteria Records. Although the lead up on this track isn’t the best, the drop on it is great with the kicks and the slightly funky electro beat combining to create an atmosphere that is full of energy. You can just imagine this being dropped during a show.

Samual James – Argon (Uberjakd Remix) [Electro]

This Aoki and Flux track is pretty filthy, in a good way, with some dark sounds sprinkled with a few light ones creating a good contrast.

Katy Perry – Roar (dBerrie ‘Plurred Out’ Remix) (Preview)
Fairfax, VA – Yesterday, dBerrie, posted a photo of himself near a bus stop with the caption “Just finished a new remix of a pretty big artist, guess who??”, with a Katy Perry ad in the background. So this remix wasn’t too much of surprise, but what was a surprise was the remix’s feel — it wasn’t too ‘mainstream’
What do I mean by mainstream? Well, its not cheaply put together. Although those who just hate radio hits, will not perceive this remix as good since Katy Perry is all over the radio, but dBerrie’s “Plurred Out” remix is pretty good — no matter what side of the Mainstream vs Non-Mainstream debate you’re on. Still no word on the official release date, but the preview is below.
Let us know what you think.
Icona Pop – All Night (dBerrie Remix) (Preview)
Fairfax, VA – Another Icona Pop remix you say? Well this remix dBerrie brings us isn’t bad at all.
The New Yorker, dBerrie’s, remix isn’t just taking two-three seconds of the original and slapping EDM-stuff on it and calling it a remix — it actually accompanies the vocals really well. It’ll make you sad that Fall is here because you’ll want to jam out to this remix as you cruise with your friends with the top down. This remix will surely be played at various mini-festivals and mega-shows this fall.
The full track will be released out on Big Beat Records on October 8, 2013. Meanwhile, you can stream the preview below.

Moguai is not falling behind in pumping out hard hitting tracks. His upcoming release, “Can’t Stop” featuring vocals by Niles Mason will be part of the influx of Spinnin’ Records tracks in October. Kill The Noise – Saturn (GTA Remix): High Energy Electro Meets Melbourne
Washington, D.C. – Miami based JWLS and Van Toth, members of duo GTA, have remixed Kill The Noise’s single featuring Brillz and Minxx “Saturn” GTA, known for their re-popularization of Big Room house as “main stream” along with Carnage, has tapped into yet another variation of house music, Melbourne Bounce, a style of house from Australia. The remix has elements of electro house with traces of Melbourne Bounce in the drop and a nice dose of it near the end creating a high energy track that’ll surely have the club “bouncing” Knowing the success and popularity of GTA, we expect Melbourne Bounce influenced tracks will begin to saturate the industry pretty soon as big room house dies down.
The remix is part of the Black Magic Remixes EP being released on iTunes, Spotify and Beatport under Skrillex’s label OWSLA on September 3rd, 2013.
