Volant remixes Astronaut’s “Champions” featuring vocals by Harry Brooks Jr creating an amazing vocal dubstep track. You cannot help but bob your head the whole time when listening to this. Da Tweekaz were chosen to create the anthem for Freaqshow 2014 and they brought an interesting mix to this year’s anthem. What really stood out to me was the use of the Spanish guitar and trumpet half way through the song, as odd as that may sound on paper, it actually sounds pretty good.
If you think this song couldn’t get any catchier, TKDJS is here to prove you wrong. These Brooklyn guys give “Problem” an upbeat house remix that’ll, at the very least (if dancing isn’t an option), will have your head bobbing to the beat. Did we mention it’s a freebie?
What I enjoyed the most about this track is what makes it unique, the use of ‘whistles’ with the Spanish guitar which is common in South American folk music. The drop is nice too but, I wish they would of kept the whistle going because it sounded awesome but then again the title wouldn’t make sense.
After re-branding his podcast, Gareth Emery has released a freebie for fans, his remix of “Stay Alive” by Jose Gonzalez. The remix is pretty laid back, a great track to play when driving or simply kicking back and relaxing after a long week.
