The upcoming Major Lazer album, “FREE THE UNIVERSE,” has been been kidnapped by General Rubbish and we all must embark on an epic journey to upset his evil plan so Major Lazer can free the universe as planned with the album.
Our fans are the most important part of what makes Major Lazer what it is. It is with that consideration that “FREE THE UNIVERSE” will not be released this month as previously scheduled. We never want to disappoint our supporters but circumstances out of our control have made us unable to keep the intended date. For anyone disappointed, we are truly apologetic and we promise that this hiccup has only made what we have planned for the album stronger. We tried extremely hard to keep the date but it was ultimately decided that rushing the album would have been unfair to you and everyone who worked so hard on it. An iTunes exclusive pre-order in the US will launch next Tuesday, 2/26 which will feature an instant grat download of the forthcoming Major Lazer single “Watch Out for This (Bumaye).”

‘Phat Brahms’ has traveled a long way since its initial creation in 2012. The dynamic track created by Steve Aoki, Angger Dimas vs. Dimitiri Vegas & Like Mike was produced during a late night on the 2012 Deadmeat Tour and later debut at, Tomorrowland during a four way set amid Steve Aoki’s closing performance. Since the October release Phat Brahms has become a popular track among the EDM genre as a high-energy, big-room, dance floor piece. Now four months after the official release we have a huge follow up with our remix package featuring nine renditions of the track from Coone, Botnek, WolfPack, 3BalMTY, and more.

The two track EP will be released February 11, 2013. Got To Be, also a track on the EP, features vocals by Jake Page, which compliments the melodic bass that makes up the dubstep track. Washington, D.C. – He is back! Munchi has release a new EP titled “Skulltrap Vol. One“, his latest production in months.
Munchi has been dealing with stress and has been sick for awhile, which has kept him away from music for roughly six months, but the Dutch-Dominican producer and DJ brings us a unique style of Trap, “Moombahtrap”, with his EP. The EP is comprised of 4 tracks, all VIP’s, coming out to a total of 11 minutes of music. According to Munchi, this is the first of many MONTHLY EPs to come. Washington, D.C. – The four man French electronic dance music producer group, Birdy Nam Nam have released their new EP, “Defiant Order“. The group’s EP contains the original version of the track which the EP is named after as well as remixes of the track. The remixes were produced by UZ, suspected to be french (No one really knows, he is pretty secretive), Breakbot, Craze and Block Beattaz. Washington, D.C. – Steve Aoki releases his new EP under Dim Mak Records titled, “It’s The End Of The World As We Know It“. The first track on the EP, “Singularity” features Angger Dimmas and vocals by My Name Is Kay creating a hard hitting high-energy electro track with some dutch house elements. “Omega”, the second track on the EP, is a gritty electro house track that is bound to be a crowd please in Steve’s sets in 2013 (If we make it that). The third and final track on the EP is, “Transcend”, a track with an 8-Bit like sound to the intro that drops into a progressive house beat.

PLAY HARDER is the follow-up to KREWELLA’s #1 Beatport EP released earlier this year, PLAY HARD, which also currently sits at #10 on iTunes Dance Chart.
