Skrillex Launches The Remixes To “Make It Bun Dem”

Washington DC – Last Night, Skrillex released the remixes to the hit single “Make It Bun Dem” featuring Damian “Jr Gong” Marley, a single mixing reggae elements with dubstep or “brostep” as Skrillex’s productions are called by new fans of EDM. The Remixes album includes remixes by Brodinski, David Heartbreak creating a Gabbahton like remix, Culprate, French Fries, Flinch going for a trap like track and finally one by Alvin Risk — which, as many long time fans of EDM have pointed out, is one of the best remixes on the whole remix album. You can stream and listen to the previews yourself to create your own assumption. The remix album “Make It Bun Dem After Hours” sales for $6.99 in US iTunes Stores.

Behind The Scenes: Kendo Ft. Baby Rasta & Gringo – Llamala (Official Video)

Washington DC – Here’s the behind the scenes look at the “Llamala” music video. Baby Rasta & Gringo and Kendo, artists who are all signed to EME Music, have been recording their next music video in sunny California. The music video of “Llamala” was filmed at a location near Los Angeles, California where director Carlos Martin and videographer Ryan Weith headed the operation. There is still no set release date for the music video.

Dada Life Releases Their New EP “Feed the Dada”

Washington DC – Yesterday, Dada Life launched their latest EP “Feed The Dada” which features remixes by Revealed Recordings producer, Dyro as well as producer Dice Motion. Maffio Will Throw the First Pitch at The Miami Marlin’s Ball Park

Miami, Florida – Multi-platinum producer and singer, Maffio will be at the Marlin’s Ball Park, which can hold up to 37,000 baseball fans, on Friday August 31, 2012 when the Marlins face the New York Mets. Maffio will be throwing the opening pitch before the game begins and after the game ends, Maffio will perform at West Plaza of the park. The game will start at 7:10PM and be presented by beer maker, Heineken.

Washington DC – Here’s the second “Professional Griefers” music video teaser, this time its a preview to the fight scene in the video. The fight is set as a futuristic version of UFC where the fighters are robots controlled by a user, in this case Deadmau5 and “G3rald”. The video is set to release in just a few days on August 29, 2012.

Asmund played it out of nowhere at the Denmark gig when at the end of his set when we did a mini back 2 back, before Major Lazer came on.
That must’ve been one of this years highlights for me, to see the entire crowd go down to Naffie’s remix. I felt so fucking happy yo.
Asmund asked me why I never did a remix of this since I already did a VIP of Naffie’s remix of ‘Blow Your Speakers’ (Moombah on Rotterdam Trap).
I was like for me this is one of the biggest tracks ever and I could never do it justice in my eyes.

So instead of remixing it I fucking VIP’d the shit out of it. HAHA!!!!
it true to the original, getting more bass in it and a heavier snare and of course Trappin at the highest energy point of the track haha. BOW!! #SINMIEDOOOOOOO!!!
I had some time in the hotel before the 2012 Mad Decent Block Party after The Fader picked me up from the airport and followed me around a bit. Just like the old days before the seizure,
I made 3 tracks in the hour that I had, because I was so exited haha!
So good to see everyone again over there and of course meeting UFO and the 3ball kids for the first time!!! Not to forget ULTRACAT (aka Nejo/Angel Lopez HAHA) holdin it down on the mic!!!
In the end I even got props from Sabo that my DJ-ing improved. FUCK YEAH!!! Means a lot to me yo.

So for me this is really a moment, I finally edited my favorite track in the hopes that it will get played a shit ton more and in an attempt to hear the Naffie drops out there in the clubs and mixes everywhere.
This goes out to the much underrated boss that Naffie is!
