The dubstep duo, comprised of Erik Tinajero and David Gill, have released a preview of something new they’re working on, best part is that its dubstep. After releasing a trap single, Chinese Finger Trap, the duo has begun working on “Sock Hop” a dubstep track with subsonic bass the duo is known for pumping out. The EDM duo, comprised of Brazilian Alex Mind and Canadian Conrad Funk, produced a heavily dubstep saturated moombahcore track that’ll have your head bobbing to the beat, if you’re not already jumping around. Washington, D.C. – Trap on LE7ELS label? Yes, it happened.
The swedish EDM duo, Cazzette, released a remix to AVICII’s “Alcoholic“, a track released back when he was known as Tim Berg (before ‘he was cool’). The ‘trapleg’ remix retains elements of the original track released back in 2009 with trap elements thrown in by the duo. Although the remix isn’t amazing, dope or of “Damn Son Where’d You Find This…” worthiness, its pretty good considering this is Cazzette’s first attempt at Trap music, producing mostly electro and dubstep. Overall a pretty cool track, if you think otherwise, please feel free to leave a comment.

Washington, D.C. – Dutch producers, The Partysquad, have released the Issy and Dhat Ape remix to their single “Helemaal Naar De Klote” for free download today. In case you’re wondering what Helemaal Naar De Klote means, it’s dutch for “All F**ked Up” and this track is the perfect side dish for such an occasion. Washington, D.C. – As many long time Reggaeton fans know, Jowell & Randy started off at Live Music, a label famous for also housing producers like DJ Giann, Mister Green and Dexter. Recently, the label, along side White Lion, has released an EPK titled “Back To The Underground” showcasing artists signed to both labels. The video includes footage of Jowell & Randy, Tony Lenta, OG Black, JQ, Falo and others.
Jowell & Randy are currently working on their album “Sobredoxis” which is set to release soon.
Washington, D.C. – Yup, there is a movie about electronic dance music in the works.
Diplo and his business partner, Kevin Kusatsu, have teamed up with 20th Century Fox to create an EDM inspired movie. In the words of Diplo the movie will be a “8 Mile meets Project X” type of a film. There is still no word on when the movie will go into production or even a rough release date, but the names of the writers and some producers have been released; Adam Weinstock and Andy Jones as writers and Trevor Engelson and Noah Rothman as producers and executive producers, respectively.
Wondering why Diplo is making a movie? Well Diplo isn’t just a producer, DJ and Business man. He also studied film at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.

Washington, D.C. – In all honesty, the lyrics make this track sound like an LMFAO influenced track, but The PartySquad is on the beat so it balances it out. The track was recorded in New York City by Slimmy Neutron and written by dutch producer Alvaro. Although the lyrics may “kill” the song for some, the beat with its punchy dutch house kicks makes up for. You can download the single for free today via Soundcloud.
