Festival Season tends to be full of big room tracks so it’s no surprise Vato Gonzalez is getting ready to release one. His “B52 Riddim” will be dropping big kick bombs (B52 bomber reference) this May, in the meanwhile you can stream the teaser below. The style reminds me of DVBBS but, with a better sound library.
Out May 16th, 2014 via Ultra
Sebjak’s new Progressive House tune, “We Are” features vocals from a yet to be announced vocalist. What really stands out about “We Are” is it’s breaks; although it is progressive it has some electro/dubsteppy breaks here and there. Out April 15th, 2014 on Ultra.
Should I shuffle, Irish dance or both? BOOSTEDKIDS came out with a teaser of their new release with ULTRA records, “Escocia” Not sure if trolling or simply releasing because it is St. Patrick’s Day and bagpipes are okay today. Set to release on Beatport March 21st, 2014.
I always get excited for non-woodblock big room tracks. Starkillers brings his A-game with this remix; the percussion leading to the drop is on point and so is the drop. This remix is set to release on Ultra a week after April Fool’s, 04.08.2014.

Track Reviewed: Daddy’s Groove & Congorock – Synthemilk (Extended Mix) [ULTRA] – 5:08 min
Teaser Below
Drop:
“You Make me wanna” dance. The drop on this track goes from a great build up to a smooth groovy SAW synth that just makes you want to dance — its great!
Originality:
Compared to what is out there now, Daddy’s Groove and Congorock’s collab is a welcomed change of pace.
Sound Quality:
“Synthemilk” has great sound quality. I listened to this track both on my desktop and in my car; the groovy synth sounds awesome with the right sound system — you really start to feel it.
Vocals:
Not really present besides the “You make me wanna” so we aren’t taking this into account.
Worth The Buy/Download:
Yes. Huge drops are cool and all but, it never hurts to have a track that you can simply just dance to.
AVAILABLE MARCH 14, 2014 on ULTRA.
