Yellow Claw & Mightyfools – Lick Dat [Moombah/Kuduro/Trap]

Yellow Claw & Mightyfools - Lick Dat

When I first saw this track, I read that it was categorized as “trap” but, it couldn’t be further way from that. Yellow Claw and Mightyfools came together to make one hell of a unique track; combining Moombahton, Kuduro, and some trap elements at a Jumpstyle paced tempo. It is one of those tracks that when dropped at a show, all mayhem will break loose.

#TweeKay14 – Ran Away By Da Tweekaz Ft. Ghost Wars (New Release) [Hardstyle]

DaTweekaz

We are almost half way into the year and Da Tweekaz releases Volume 5 of the #Tweekay14 project. Every month so far they bring us the best inspiration and message. When this track starts, it takes you to a launching pad. Your ears are the spacecraft that awaits to travel into a deep journey. The kicks serve as the fuel that powers the engines to help accomplish the mission of fulfillment and achieve great climax in this song. The vocals are ones that will make you release good energy from your body and soul. The beats and melodies are a perfect combination of frequencies traveling the open space through eternity. Yet again a great track to add to your music library along with the previous volumes. Make sure to follow this interesting project they put into action for 2014.

Bigfoot by W&W (LNY TNZ Remix) [Hardstyle/Freebie]

LNYTNZ
Bigfoot freebie remix is a true representation of how much attention to detail can be put into a song. This duo is on the loose and ready to create tunes that will make your heart beat at a supernatural pace. LNY TNZ picked an original song produced by W&W which is beautiful in its own nature. They reversed engineer the track and re-sequence the beats giving it a new body where bouncy tones are there to make you jump. They perfectly blended different sounds with a clear understanding of the demand for originality and uniqueness. Take note of the talent these guys have because they are here to make us see an EDM world in an awesome Hardstyle way. What this means is that they will make sure any trap, trance, house, etc. track is turned into a top charts Hardstyle hit.

Wildstylez & Noisecontroller – Cats, Jets and Breaks [Hardstyle]

Starts off innocently enough, with strings and a nice smooth pad to start things off but, quickly drops into a nice Hardstyle bass line. What I personally really enjoyed about this track is the transition at 2:05, Noisecontrollers and Wildstylez did a pretty good job on this track. The sense of grandeur with the smooth pads and strings with the Hard and Bassy kicks create a “Festival level” type Hardstyle tune.

“Wildstylez & Noisecontroller – Cats, Jets and Breaks” is set to release on April 11th, 2014 on Lose Control Music.

Review: D-Block & S-te-Fan & Isaac Ft. Chris Madin – Alive [Single]

Alive DBSTF DJ ISAAC Chris Madin

Featured on Corillo Commute Episode #12

Drop:
No watered down kicks here! DBSTF and Isaac bring a nice Hardstyle kick that really makes the drop pretty awesome. The heavy kick is pretty well contrasted with an upbeat melody and vocals which create a ‘feel good’ vibe to it.

Vocals:
Chris Madin’s vocal combined with the calm and almost Progressive House styled intro to create a great feel. I have a feeling that this track may become a summer anthem this year.

Originality:
It’s not watered down Hardstyle and it’s not a woodblock Big Room track so we give it a thumbs up in this category.

Sound Quality:
The vocals, the melody and the kick on this track all sound great. Nothing is out of place and it’s pretty balanced. As previously stated, the heavy kick is contrasted well by other aspects of the song which really balance it out. It’s a good track to introduce n00bs to; its not too Hard for a House fan but, Progressive enough to where someone isn’t completely alienated by the track.

Worth The Buy:
Yes! Especially since Hardstyle is on the rise, it’s great track to ease your way into the genre. Purchase it on iTunes today!

Headhunterz – Society @ Firestone Live (Event) [Review]

Headhunterz Interview- Event 033

What an amazing show Saturday night in Orlando. Headhunterz pulled off one of the best Hardstyle events the state of Florida has experienced so far. The energy his music released to the crowd was perfectly noticed and created an atmosphere full of good sounds, dance and unity. Its all up to the performer to take full control of his event and Headhunterz did just that. His interaction with the crowd and his moves reflected that he is humble, caring and true to his style; this is why he’s one of the most successful Hardstyle DJs. His set was made of songs that reminded us of his creative talented way of tailoring the best sounds and beats. Music fans with an open mind really appreciated and felt the happiness. Thanks to Firestone Live, Alliance Events and HTG Events for continuously supporting the Hardstyle movement. Stay tuned for the follow up interview we had a chance to conduct that night with Headhunterz.

Noisecontrollers – Ignition Firestone Live (Review) [Event]

Noiscecontrollers 115

As part of his U.S. tour Bas made his way down to Orlando in Florida. This was a much anticipated event that had the fans expecting to hear the best of Noisecontrollers. He got up on stage and the reaction of the crowd was amazing. Just knowing that a Legend of Hardstyle was about to start playing, had everyone super excited! His set consisted of Noisecontrollers’ hit songs and all the tracks from his new album “All Around” that’s out now ranking high on the charts. Overall an excellent show that took place at Firestone Live nightclub in Orlando with Alliance Events. This venue is supporting the Hardstyle movement and gaining a very good reputation.

Review: Adrenalize – Cloudy Memory EP [Hardstyle]

Andrenalize Cloudy Memory

Cloudy Memory:
The vocals on this, man. I don’t even care what she’s saying, I just know it sounds so soothing. The drop follows that same trend, although it’s Hardstyle the screechy pad is oddly soothing. Adrenalize really makes the title somewhat relevant with a matching feel in the track, almost euphoric.

Crystal:
Like “Cloud Memory” it keeps that upbeat positive feel but, it is presented in a way that’ll have you raging.
