Deorro is back with the vocal version to his successful hit, “Five Hours” What’s great about the this vocal version is that is sounds like an original track, in the sense that it doesn’t just sound like someone threw some vocals on an instrumental. A few months ago Porter Robinson announced his the coming of his new sound at a show in Washington, D.C. and as new tracks from his upcoming album drop, it is becoming more apparent that what he said was true. Porter brings a new refreshing sound that anyone could appreciate — no big room ova herr!
A mix between funky pop sounds with soothing pads creates a great feel on this track that rivals that of Porter Robinson’s previous release “Language” — it’s almost moving. Although I am not a big fan of the vocals, the instrumentals on this bad boy are amazing. “Lionhearted” will be available on June 17th, 2014.
Tech House with a Deep House feel, a great track to look forward to later this month. My Digital Enemy brings us “Desired Life”, a funky and groovy track with chill vibes. It is set to release on May 19th, 2014 via Vudu.

What I really enjoyed about this track was the old school feel to it; I wouldn’t call it funky nor would I call it pop — it’s just good. The trio (duh) from Austria have remixed fellow Austrian Indie Pop band, GIANTREE’s, single “Cosmic Highways” off his latest EP. It is yet to be released but, you can stream it today.

“You Make me wanna” dance. The drop on this track goes from a great build up to a smooth groovy SAW synth that just makes you want to dance — its great!
Originality:
Compared to what is out there now, Daddy’s Groove and Congorock’s collab is a welcomed change of pace.
Sound Quality:
“Synthemilk” has great sound quality. I listened to this track both on my desktop and in my car; the groovy synth sounds awesome with the right sound system — you really start to feel it.
Vocals:
Not really present besides the “You make me wanna” so we aren’t taking this into account.
Worth The Buy/Download:
Yes. Huge drops are cool and all but, it never hurts to have a track that you can simply just dance to.
