Powerful Video: First World Problems [Cool Stuff]

Washington DC – Many of us do it, we complain about how our phones’ internet connection is too slow or how your iPhone case doesn’t match your shoes, but we forget that many people throughout the world cannot say such things. These are first world problems, the video above makes a good point — these problems are not problems at all.

The video is part of a campaign to bring clean water to people in impoverished countries of the world where clean water is scarse. WATERisLIFE.com is giving out “straws” or personal filters to people who live in these countries so that can have access to their own clean water through filtration. Each straw costs about $10.00 USD, but it is for a good cause. Share the video with your friends and join the effort. To donate please visit Water Is Life’s website, here.

Washington DC – Yup, the title is true. These guys put an iPhone 5 in Agua Regia (nitro-hydrochloric acid), which is meant to dissolve Noble Metals or “Precious” metals like Gold ans Platinum and surprisingly the iPhone continues to work for a little while. After 20 minutes, the guys add a little more Hydrochloric Acid to the mix and the iPhone begins to dissolve. Think this is crazy? Leave a comment below with your thoughts on the video.
