The ChainSmokers never disappoint with their remixes and their remix of “Fix This” by The Colourist is no exception. The ChainSmokers remix is full of upbeat pads and synths that just give this song such a great feel, a must have. There is still no word on whether this track will be out for sale or free download, but we’ll definitely announce it once we know.
At first we thought what you probably thought when you saw this post, has Diplo trolled us? Well, he hasn’t, or at least it doesn’t seem that way. Its a trap remix to a pop progressive house tune which left, not only us, but fans as well pondering if it was a joke or not. But, there is an element of quality to the track so I guess we’ll just have to wait until it is finally released.

Since their music video of “Bad Habit” reached its minimum of 50,000 views on YouTube, Da Tweekaz have delivered on their promise of releasing the single for free to the general public.

The distorted heavy brass on this trap track really makes this. Gent & Jawns go for that Southern hip hop feel, combining hard hitting percussion with good ol’ brass for a track that’ll definitely have people twerkin’ (or at least flexin’).

If you like an extra dose of funk in your music, you’ll love this remix. Chocolate Puma remixes Chromeo’s “Sexy Socialite” into an old school funky Nu Disco tune with some tech house elements. Overall, a great tune.
Canadian rapper, iSH, brings us his latest music video, “You Got It“, an upbeat positive track with good vibes following his last successful release “Rollin’” which broke Top 20 on the radio in Canada. It’s a great track to cruise to or just play in the background when you kick back and relax.
Cliche trap music? Eh, not so much.
Mine’s “#Original” is equivalent to a minimal style of Trap, “Trapinimal” if we had to give it a name. It gets into the essence of what makes trap music great — the percussion. Lots of bass through 808s, not as much overuse of vocal samples like most Trap and its high energy feel even though it’s a bit slow; all makes the track worthy of streaming without the feeling of disappointment afterwords.

Logan Light and Alex Seaver, Los Angeles based producing/DJ duo, Mako, bring us “Beam” — a progressive house tune mixed by Revealed Recordings’ Dannic. The layered pads and synths go so well with the hard hitting progressive percussion, creating an upbeat feel that’ll have crowds dancing along. You’ll most likely hear this track played at most shows where a House DJ is headlining — a definitely crowd pleaser.
