Washington DC – The 4.87 inches tall, 2.69 inches wide, and 0.39 inch thick Nokia Lumia phone is the smallest of the Lumia phones (820 and 920). The Lumia 820 will be using a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor to run the new Windows 8 Mobile Software. Nokia Lumia phones have dominated the Windows Phones market ever since the launch of the Lumia 920 running on Windows 7 Mobile. Look at all the cool colors? Well the back covers of the phones can be switched out and replaced with a color of your choosing so the headache of choosing a single color is no longer an issue, a great option for those who love to use their phone as an accessory (yes people do that).
The phone is equipped with a 8-megapixel camera with a LED flash and a 4X Digital Zoom capable of recording in 1080p video. As for talk time and battery life, the Nokia Lumia 820 uses a 1,650mAh battery which according to Nokia last 8 to 14 hours (depending on use of course). Another interesting feature about the battery is its ability to be wirelessly charged with the recharging pad (sold separately). We have yet to receive information regarding its base price and release date but, it should be released soon. It is expected to not be as expensive as most smartphones, as it is considered to be a “mid range” priced phone.
